FORD PUMA • DOOR & QUARTER PANEL REPAIR

Ford Puma rear door & quarter panel repair

Repairs to a rear door and a quarter panel on opposite sides of the vehicle, documented from the original marks through preparation and refinishing to the finished paintwork.

01 • BEFORE

Before the repair

This Ford Puma had visible surface marks and local distortion around the rear door near the wheel arch. The quarter-panel repair was on the opposite side of the vehicle, above the rear wheel arch. These were two separate repair areas, not adjoining panels.

The dent before work began

This original clip shows the quarter-panel dent above the rear wheel arch. Watch the reflections as the camera moves to see the change in the panel’s shape. This repair was on the opposite side of the vehicle from the rear-door repair.

02 • DURING

Preparation before refinishing

The affected areas on the door and quarter panel were prepared, with the surrounding coatings feathered into the repair. The door handle was removed during preparation, and neighbouring areas were masked to protect them during refinishing.

03 • AFTER

Repaired and refinished

The finished photographs show the vehicle unmasked, with the rear door handle back in place and reflective paintwork across the repaired areas. Together, the images record the preparation and visible result across both panels.

Before and after photographs were taken from different angles and in different lighting.
